Outreach Ministry Coordinator

Opportunity Description

The primary role of the Outreach Ministry Coordinator is supporting the mission and vision of the outreach pastor. The main function of the outreach ministry assistant is administrative, focusing on the organization of the outreach department while offering full support administratively to the outreach pastor. The outreach coordinator plays a key role in leadership of the department by assisting the outreach pastor with direct oversight of the Southeastern University interns assigned to the outreach department, along with direct leadership support of the outreach directional leadership, ministry coordinators, leaders and volunteer teams. The outreach coordinator is responsible for maintaining the volunteer recruitment, new believer, harvest point, and transportation ministry systems and their processes. The outreach ministry coordinator plays a pivotal role in training and equipping the body of CLC to impact their world, become disciple makers and reach our Jerusalem harvest.

Role Responsibilities

  • Meet weekly with pastor for strategic planning
  • Give update on direct ministry reports weekly (verbal)
  • Assist with annual budget proposals by developing strategic ministry plans with direct reports
  • Assist pastor with setting annual strategic ministry goals based on divine urgencies 
  • Host monthly directional team meeting
  • Develop & maintain monthly coaching schedule with direct reports (Ministry Directors)
  • Assist direct report in implementing vision with Ministry Coordinators
  • Set effective 12-week goals for each director quarterly
  • Commit to monthly corporate prayer & fasting schedule
  • Maintain SEU intern scheduling
  • Praying for God’s leading into new territories
  • Use your influence to recruit new leaders
  • Share outreach mission, vision & initiatives often
  • Develop schedule of ministry connection with directors
  • Ensure direct reports are committed to monthly corporate prayer & fasting schedule
  • Work with directors to ensure all supplies needed to succeed are readily available
  • Liasion with outreach directors
  • Ensure strategic alignment of vision with directors
  • Provides annual evaluations of all ministry directors
  • Coordinate a quarterly quad 2 (connect) event with direct reports
  • Maintain budget tracking system
  • Responsible for all outreach department administration
  • Provide administrative assistance to outreach pastor

Requirements

This position requires a 3-5 years of leadership experience. A 4-year degree is preferred, but combined work /life experience accepted. Competent in Microsoft office. Effective written and interpersonal communication skills. Social media and graphic design are preferred. Physically able to lift 50 pounds. Valid DL with clean driving history. Passionate about people and fulfilling the great commission is paramount.
