We believe that prayer is the way that we fellowship with God and how He ministers to us.  Jesus modeled for us the importance of prayer in times alone with the Father and taught His disciples how to pray for those in need.  We desire to live in this way as Jesus taught us. We want to model, teach, equip, and bring comfort to our church body in prayer and through prayer. Prayer ministry at CLC is a place for people with a heart to intercede on behalf of our church, community, and nation. We believe what James 5:16 teaches which says that the prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective and that when we confess and pray for one another that healing can begin.  

Roles & Responsibilities: 

• Gatekeeper Prayer Member – will be required to pray 1 hour weekly with a gate, assist in praying in the altar during special services, and attend monthly Gatekeeper prayer meetings. 
   

Required Experiences:  

• Encounter 
• Complete SOD Level 1 & 2 (Minimum)  

Schedule: 

• Pray 1 hour weekly with Gate – days and times vary 
• Attend monthly Gatekeeper prayer meetings 

Weekly Prayer Gathering  

Our weekly prayer gathering happens every Wednesday night at 7:00 pm in the Chapel. People join in person and online to pray over different topics and prayer points.  

Roles & Responsibilities: 

• Zoom Admin – The Zoom Admin for the Prayer Gathering will be managing and interacting with participants during the prayer meetings. *  Some experience with zoom or desire to learn 

• CLC Prayer Partner – Our CLC Prayer Partners engage with online participants in the chat.  They will respond to prayer requests and comments as well as post scriptures and prayer points in the chat window so online attendees can actively participate in the prayer time.  

• Research Team – Research scriptures that align with prayer topic and prayer points for that week.  

• Technology Team – Provide help with any technical roles that are needed for the Prayer Gathering (camera setup, zoom (technical side), mics and sound board, etc.) *  Some technical skills may be necessary, but training is available

   

Schedule:  

• Once a week, bi-weekly or once a month – depending on your availability 
• Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm
