ABOUT THIS ROLE
Position will assist the Business Director in the area of accounting and finance for both church and schools. The Staff Accountant would handle a full cycle accounting for all three schools. Therefore, this person must have good time management skills, detailed oriented and organized. This person must be trustworthy and have demonstrated integrity with confidential information and handling money on a weekly basis.
Educational Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an equivalent position
Knowledgeable of Sage Intacct a plus
Role Responsibilities:
Credit Card review and reconciliations for schools
Bank and system reconciliations
Assisting with month-end/year-end close
Process account payables weekly
Monthly reporting for church and school financials
Assist with annual audit preparations
Process stewardship contribution weekly
Review school budgets and set up budget reporting in financial system
Assists in the Annual and Special Business Meeting
Assist with various ad hoc and monthly reporting
Assist with SUFS audit (annual school gov’t funding)
Needed strengths & skills:
Proven knowledge of accounting principles
Intermediate level of MS Excel reporting
Detail oriented
Strong organizational and management skills
Good verbal and written communication
Ability to handle conflict management

- Keep God ordained priorities, placing God first, marriage second, children third and then ministry.
- Be obedient towards giving at least 10% of your earnings by tithing through CLC. We also strongly encourage that you support our global initiative through giving towards Kingdom Builders (Missions).

Schedule
- Monday through Friday schedule
- 40-45 hour work week; work week may vary
- Some Sundays and special events are required
